Story
Small team, big work
You might be thinking, "Another task management app?"
During my time in graduate school, I was researching project management. Surprisingly, I found that there was hardly any systematic know-how that could be practically applied to project management, including task management. In fact, it is said that it takes 5 to 10 years of on-the-job training in a company to educate a project manager. Therefore, I thought it would be innovative to have a simulation tool for educating project managers and proceeded with research and development. However, what I found out was that it is impossible to train a project manager in a short period of time. This is because properly managing a project and proceeding with what needs to be done in an orderly manner so depends on the situation at the time.
After joining an IT consulting firm, I experienced a wide range of projects, such as from large-scale system development that takes many years to take off, systems management and operation of critical applications, management of IT department and entire company technology, founding and management of startups, development of new services and products, etc. What I realized is that although some practical know-how can be applied to only some specific similar projects. Every time is different, sometime works, sometime does not, this is sort of a reality. In recent years, the business cycle has been faster and every time is "This is my first time". We face something new all the time.
So, what if we focus more on processing what's in front of us as quickly as possible rather than managing? This is where the idea of tossworks was born. Imagine if the handover of tasks can be done as naturally as having a conversation, if you can always know who is doing what, and if you can know the situation without any trouble. There are plenty of tools for management, like Notion, Trello, Asana, etc. But if work still doesn't progress productively, it's because management itself is difficult, no matter what tool you use. tossworks is easy to use even for people who have never used a tool before or who find the tools they are currently using difficult.
Even small, busy teams with insufficient human resources can increase productivity and accomplish big tasks.
Give it a try for free. Always welcome!
